Threaded Flanges are flanges that are widely used in low pressure piping systems, since no welding is involved while connecting the flanges to pipes or other equipment. They are also called as screwed flanges and are quite like slip-on flanges, except that the bore is threaded, like the name suggests, enabling assembling without welding. They are mostly used with pipes that have external threads.
